Our Story
Our practice was founded in 1995 as Direct Dentures by Nick Peacock, a third-generation dental technician with over 50 years of experience. Amanda Benson became a part of the dental team in 1998, managing the practice’s day-to-day activities. In 2011, Nick received a distinction diploma in Clinical Dental Technology at The Royal College of Surgeons, the first in the UK to do so. Amanda followed in 2013. In 2012, after consultation with patients, the practice was rebranded as Smile on the Square. In 2017, the team teamed up with the award-winning practice The Burley Dental Suite, expanding their capabilities even further.
In 2020, award-winning Principal Dentist Dr. Nikolas Stoy joined the team. Dr. Stoy specialises in orthodontics and implantology and takes a holistic approach to dentistry. At Smile on the Square, we take pride in our achievements and are excited to continue offering exceptional dental care to both current and prospective patients
